New York State Minorites in Criminal Justice, Inc. includes
REPRESENTATIVE OF ALL -- races, ethnic groups, genders, religions,
ages, and those individuals who are physically, mentally, and economically
challenges.
You are classified as a minority if:
(a) you're a woman, even though women represent 51% of the US
population;
(b) if you're an ethnic minority, even though Hispanic Americans,
African Americans, and others statistically represent a majority;
(c) if you're a male or female eligible for advancement, but a less
qualified candidate gets the job; and
(d) if you support NABCJ & NYSMICJ's "Disproportionate Minority
Contact/Confinement Initiative" (DMCI)!

coordinate efforts
with all legitimate
organizations
whose purposes
would include the
promotion of justice
within the General
State, Local, Public
and Private sectors
of the Criminal
Justice System.
The New York State Minorities in Criminal Justice, Inc. is dedicated to
promoting leadership, excellence and service. In partnership with our
public and private organizations, MICJ can make a reality -- equal
opportunity, economic equity, cultural competency,  and legislative
initatives to reform our criminal justice system. As a member of MICJ,
